Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Dynamo earned a 1-0 win over Texas rivals FC Dallas in Major League Soccer action on Saturday night at Robertson Stadium.

The win was the third straight for Houston, which climbed into a third-place tie in the Western table.

FC Dallas, on the other hand, dropped its third straight and sits in last in the entire league.

Kei Kamara scored the game's only goal in the 58th minute, converting a Stuart Holden feed for his first goal of the season. Holden made a good run down the left side and ran onto a ball played over the top by Brad Davis. Holden then played a cross into the Dallas penalty area with his left, which Kamara headed home, past Ray Burse.

Houston (3-2-2) will try to continue its winning streak when it travels to New York next Saturday, while FC Dallas (1-6-1) will aim for improvement when it hosts Seattle later the same night in its next MLS match.
