Description: According to NFL.com, Eagles receiver Arrelious Benn tore his left ACL Tuesday.
Insight: It's the same ACL that was repaired in 2010. Benn is the second Eagles' receiver to tear his ACL during training camp after Jeremy Maclin tore his last week. While keeping Riley Cooper on the roster might be controversial after a video surfaced of Cooper using a racial slur, it doesn't appear that the Eagles have much choice at this point.

Description: Word out of Tampa has Arrelious Benn all the way down at third string. Barring injury, it looks like he'll have little or no fantasy value in 2012.
Insight: Newly acquired Vincent Jackson along with Mike Williams are listed as the starters with Preston Parker and Sammie Stroughter as backups.

Insight: Dezmon Briscoe has been running with the first team during the preseason, as Benn gets eased back in to the groove in recovery from his ACL surgery. He should be able to keep Briscoe at bay.

Description: Buccaneers rookie WR Arrelious Benn will be placed on injured reserve with a torn ligament in his knee. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Benn was knocked out against the Seahawks after taking a helmet to the knee. After a slow start, Benn started looking like a solid option across from Mike Williams. He should still be kept on all dynasty rosters. Maurice Stovall will start in his place for Week Seventeen.

Description: Bucs rookie WR Arrelious Benn took a shot from a Seattle DB in Week 16 and immediately crumpled over in pain.
Insight: Benn is in severe pain, ripping his helmet off and throwing it in disgust. He was clutching his lower body somewhere and it doesn't look good. We'll have more later. UPDATE: Benn was carted off the field, headed back to the locker room for x-rays.

Insight: Despite the promotion, it will be hard for Benn to find value with Mike Williams and Kellen Winslow getting looks. Sammie Stroughter will play in the slot on three-receiver sets.

Description: Buccaneers HC Raheem Morris said he's "really intrigued" with rookie WR Arrelious Benn's development. SOURCE: ST. PETERSBURG TIMES
Insight: Slowly, but surely, Benn is starting to get the feel of the game. While we still think he won't have much fantasy value this year, his 2011 value in dynasty leagues looks solid. He should challenge for a starting job by then.

Description: The Buccaneers are getting rookie WR Arrelious Benn ready for an expanded role by giving him all the flanker snaps at practice Wednesday. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Benn has a solid chance at unseating Sammie Stroughter as an outside starter across from Mike Williams, kicking Stroughter in the slot where he should go. Benn is worthy of a flier option if you can sit on him and hope he has success.

Description: Buccaneers rookie WR Arrelious Benn is expected to be more involved after the team's Week Four bye. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Benn caught three passes for 33 yards against the Steelers, but is still too unknown to rely on as someone who will give your roster a spark. Deeper-league owners may want to consider Benn as a wait-and-stash player. His upside is far better than what the team has now across from fellow rookie Mike Williams.

Description: Even though he has improved, Buccaneers rookie WR Arrelious Benn still isn't ready for a spot in the starting lineup. SOURCE: ESPN.COM
Insight: The team has been rotating receivers across from Mike Williams to see which one will end up starting Week One. However, Williams is the only receiver to own right now.

Description: According to Buccaneers HC Raheem Morris, rookie WR Arrelious Benn is "really starting to come into his own" after Benn missed time with an ankle injury. SOURCE: ST. PETERSBURG TIMES
Insight: Morris says of Benn that "every day he's getting better." Benn should eventually take the starting job from Sammie Stroughter, but Mike Williams is the better of the two rookies to have this year.
