Description: Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware is hoping he will be cleared to return for training camp after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder on Thursday.
Insight: Ware basically played the final few games of the season with one arm after tearing his labrum and hyperextending his elbow. Ware still finished the season with 11.5 sacks, but only had 1.5 in his final six games. A healthy Ware is always a threat to tally 15-20 sacks in a season.

Insight: Ware was an incredible force in IDP leagues. He had at least one sack in 14 games and ended up with 20 sacks. Hopefully, these negotiations won't damper his spirit for chasing quarterbacks. (SportsBuff.com)

12/7/2008 12:15:00 PM
Description: DeMarcus Ware was expected to be ready to play today after hyperextending his left knee on Thanksgiving, but the extreme cold might change things there. He's now considered a game-time decision, and the late start time could make him even more unlikely to go. Keep an eye on the inactives, but there is probably a safer IDP option around.
