Description: The Packers have released TE Donald Lee. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Owners jumped on the Lee bandwagon when Jermichael Finley went down, but Lee failed to live up to the waiver-wire hype after producing just eleven catches for 73 yards and three touchdowns. Lee should find work elsewhere, but is nothing more than a depth option.

Description: Packers TE Donald Lee is expected to be released this offseason. SOURCE: MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL
Insight: Jermichael Finley owners hit the waivers hard for Lee in 2010, but he was barely a blip on the fantasy radar. Due $2.2 million on the last year of his deal, he just isn't worth keeping around.

Description: ESPN Milwaukee.com reports Packers' head coach Mike McCarthy said he's optimistic Lee (chest) can play this week after he returned to practice on Thursday.
Insight: Lee's status is still up in the air, and his effectiveness may be limited if he does play. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: After it was initially thought that he would miss the next two weeks with a chest injury, Packers TE Donald Lee made a surprising return to practice Thursday. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: This isn't a good sign for those who picked up Andrew Quarless. We will know more about Lee's participation later Thursday, but just the fact that Lee was back at all is a bit of a shock.

Description: Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, via Twitter, that Lee (chest) is expected to miss at least two weeks with a chest sprain.
Insight: Lee could have stepped into a greater role with Jermichael Finley (right knee) out, but that will not come to fruition. (RapidDraft.com)

10/10/2010 2:05:00 PM
Description: Lee scored Green Bay's first touchdown of the game Sunday but then left with a left shoulder injury. NFL.com reports that he won't return.
Insight: Lee saw a door to production open when Jermichael Finley went down. With the top two tight ends removed, look for lots of multi-receiver sets from a deep deep at that position. (RapidDraft.com)

10/10/2010 1:33:00 PM
Description: The Packers are now down to third-string TE Andrew Quarless after TE Donald Lee left Sunday's game against the Redskins with a shoulder injury and is not expected to return.
Insight: Jermichael Finley is also out with a knee injury.

Description: The Green Bay Press Gazette reports Lee's days with the Packers could be numbered.
Insight: Jermichael Finley is the clear No. 1 tight end for Green Bay, so even if Lee sticks around his fantasy value is limited without an injury. (SportsBuff.com)

Cold7/25/2009 11:50:00 PM
Description: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Lee remains the team's No. 1 tight end. He's being pushed by second-year player Jermichael Finley.
Insight: Expect Finley to catch more passes this season. His infringement on Lee's numbers makes neither player particularly attractive for fantasy purposes. (SportsBuff.com)

Cold7/10/2009 8:36:00 AM
Description: Lee could face a fight for his starting job in training camp from second-year man Jermichael Finley.
Insight: Finley was a raw player last year and didn't get a whole lot of playing time as a result. He's a tremendous talent, though, who figures to be a bigger part of the offense in 2009, no matter who opens the year as the starter. Lee should not be drafted in most fantasy leagues. (SportsBuff.com)

4/16/2009 12:50:00 PM
Description: Lee caught 39 passes for 303 yards and five touchdowns in his second season as the team's starting tight end.
Insight: Lee could face decreased looks this season, however, with second-year man Jermichael Finley around. Finley only caught six passes as a rookie but has potential. Lee is a late-round option as a fantasy tight end. (SportsBuff.com)

Steady11/16/2008 4:03:00 PM
Description: Lee had his best game of the season with six catches for 33 yards and a TD.
Insight: Lee has been a quiet TD, but now has three TD's in his last six games. He won't make anyone forget about Mark Chmura, but he can catch the ball if left wide open. (SportsBuff.com)

11/14/2008 11:37:00 AM
Description: Lee signed a nice contract extension in the off-season but has yet to produce any decent fantasy numbers so far this season. He is used primarily as a blocker in the Packer offense.
Insight: Lee has been sharing TE duties with two other options so consider him a very risky play in Week 11 against Chicago. (SportsBuff.com)

10/31/2008 11:20:00 AM
Description: Lee had been used primarily as a blocker so far this season. He was held out of the end zone in Week 7 after scoring a touchdown the week before on a shuffle pass at the goal line.
Insight: Lee is a risky play because he is used as a blocker so frequently. There are much better options at TE this week, keep Lee on your bench. (SportsBuff.com)

10/8/2008 7:15:00 PM
Description: Lee found the end zone for the first time this season, against the Falcons in Week 5. Lee signed a contract extension this past off-season and has proven to be a reliable receiver in the red-zone.
Insight: The Packers? receivers go as Aaron Rodgers goes and a Week 6 game in Seattle should translate into good receiving yards for Lee. Monitor the progress of Aaron Rodgers? injured shoulder to determine Lee?s worth this week. (SportsBuff.com)
