Description: Impending free agent O.J. Mayo is hoping to be back in Dallas next season. SOURCE: Tim MacMahon, ESPN Dallas. | Insight: Mayo signed a one-year contract with the Mavericks last offseason and for the most part he played well during the 2012-13 campaign. Certainly his numbers dipped a bit upon the return of superstar Dirk Nowitzki but Mayo's 40.7 percent three-point percentage was still a career-high and among the best in the NBA this season. If the Mavs return all their starters and maybe add a free agent or two in the offseason, this could be a top-four team in the Western Conference in 2013-14. | | |
