Mariners edge White Sox in 14-inning thriller

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Brad Miller's RBI ground-rule double in the 14th inning lifted the Seattle Mariners to a 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Seattle's Felix Hernandez and Chicago's Jose Quintana kept the game scoreless until Hernandez gave up a pair of runs in the eighth inning.

The Mariners tied the score in the top of the ninth, then won it in the 14th after Michael Saunders hit a one-out single off Ronald Belisario (3-5), stole second base and scored on Miller's one-hop drive over the left-center field wall.

Seattle, after being shut down by Chicago ace Chris Sale on Thursday, bounced back to win for the 11th time in 14 games.
