Khris Davis powers Milwaukee past Reds

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Maybe they should nickname him "Khrush."

The red-hot Khris Davis smacked two more homers and tallied four RBI in the Milwaukee Brewers' 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds in the opener of a three- game set.

The rookie Davis is batting .467 (14-of-30) with five homers and nine RBI during his nine-game hitting streak for Milwaukee, which has won two of its last three tilts.

Davis went 6-for-11 with a pair of homers during last weekends' series against the Reds.

Brandon Phillips had a homer among his two hits to go along with a pair of runs scored for the Reds, who had won four of its last five contests coming in.
