GAME NOTES: The Towson Tigers still have a shot at the regular season championship in the Colonial Athletic Association, but first they need to take care of business in their final road game against James Madison on Wednesday night.

The Tigers enter the day a game behind the Delaware Blue Hens in the conference with two games remaining. Towson has won four in a row and is coming off an 83-77 triumph at Hofstra on Saturday. Jerrelle Benimon produced 22 points to pace the Tigers. Joining Benimon in double figures for a team that won for the eighth time in the last nine tries, were Rafriel Guthrie and Mike Burwell with 16 and 15 points, respectively. The Tigers, who outscored Hofstra at the foul line by a 33-17 margin, turned the ball over just five times.

Towson has its most victories in a season since going 21-9 in 1993-94. The Tigers have also captured 19 of their last 23 CAA games. Benimon (18.6 ppg, 11.4 rpg) is just 16 rebounds shy of breaking the school's Division I single- season rebounding mark, which he set last season. Benimon is first in the NCAA with 18 double-doubles and he's ranked third in the country in rebounds per game. Guthrie (11.8 ppg), Marcus Damas (11.6 ppg) and Burwell (10.4 ppg) are the other players averaging double figures for a team that comes in at 73.2 ppg. The Tigers are 8-1 this season and 4-0 in CAA play when shooting at least 50 percent from the field.

The Dukes, who have won two straight and three of their last four contests, are coming off a 63-61 overtime win at home against Drexel a week ago. Ron Curry led all scorers with 18 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer late in overtime. Charles Cooke had 13 points for the Dukes. Andre Nation chipped in 12 points, while Tom Vodanovich brought down 11 rebounds.

Like the Tigers, JMU has four players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Nation (15.7 ppg). Cooke (14.2 ppg), Curry (12.1 ppg) and Andrey Semenov (10.4 ppg) are the others, but Semenov is shooting only 36.2 percent from the field. As a team, the Dukes are making only 27.2 percent from beyond the 3- point line.

Towson won at home over James Madison, 80-71, on Feb. 4. Guthrie scored 17, while Benimon totaled 16 points and 15 boards. Nation netted 20 points to pace the Dukes. JMU has won five of the last seven meetings, but the Tigers are primed to ruin the Dukes' home finale. James Madison is the only CAA team that Towson hasn't beaten on the road during the last two seasons. That will likely change tonight.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Towson 74, James Madison 66
