Richmond takes down No. 13 UMass

Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kendall Anthony's 21 points led the way as Richmond upended No. 13 Massachusetts, 58-55, in a key Atlantic 10 clash at the Robins Center.

Anthony buried 4-of-6 attempts from 3-point range to carry the Spiders, while Cedrick Lindsay added 11 points to help Richmond (13-6, 3-1 A-10) deal the Minutemen their first conference loss of the season.

Sampson Carter netted 15 points and Cady Lalanne had 10 along with 13 rebounds for Massachusetts (16-2, 3-1), but the Minutemen struggled offensively en route to having a six-game win streak snapped.

UMass went an off-target 2-for-14 from beyond the arc, while top scorer Chaz Williams managed only eight points on a 2-of-11 shooting rate.
