Harvick claims pole for Pocono truck race

Long Pond, PA (Sports Network) - Kevin Harvick will start on the pole for Saturday's Camping World Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway.

Harvick, in his No.2 Chevrolet, turned a lap at 162.684 mph around the 2.5- mile triangular track for his second pole in his 110th Truck Series start. His first pole in the series came in July 2010 at Gateway International Raceway.

Kyle Busch will start alongside his fellow Sprint Cup Series competitor with a lap at 162.303 mph.

Truck rookies Nelson Piquet Jr. and Parker Kligerman qualified third and fourth, respectively, while Mark Martin, another Sprint Cup regular, took the fifth spot. Martin, driving the No.32 Chevrolet for Turner Motorsports, is making his first truck start since 2007.

James Buescher, Ron Hornaday Jr., Austin Dillon, Brendan Gaughan and Todd Bodine completed the top-10.

Timothy Peters, the winner of last weekend's race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, will start 11th. Johnny Sauter, the current points leader, will roll off 16th. Sauter holds just a four-point advantage over Dillon.

The Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125 at Pocono is scheduled to start just after 1:00 p.m. (et).
