Jackson, Norman and Lindsey Earn Weekly Honors

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Tampa Bay Storm wide receiver Amarri Jackson has been awarded Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week, while Cleveland Gladiators defensive back Marrio Norman has been named the Riddell Defensive Player of the Week and Tampa Bay Storm wide receiver Michael Lindsey has been named J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Week for Week 3 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season. In addition to these awards, the AFL is also awarding the Cutters Catch of the Week and AFL Highlight of the Week. San Jose SaberCats wide receiver Reggie Gray earned the Cutters Catch of the Week, while Orlando Predators wide receiver Greg Carr was awarded the AFL Highlight of the Week.

RUSSELL ATHLETIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jackson (6-5, 225, South Florida) scored touchdowns on five of his six receptions in Tampa Bay's 52-56 loss to the Orlando Predators in Week 2. Jackson leads the Storm with eight touchdown catches on the year, with all eight coming in the last two weeks.

RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Norman (6-1, 205, Coastal Carolina) broke his own single-game franchise record for interceptions by collecting a career-high four picks in Cleveland's 37-26 victory over the New Orleans VooDoo in Week 2. In his last six regular season games, Norman has collected 10 interceptions.

J. LEWIS SMALL PLAYMAKER OF THE WEEK

Lindsey (6-2, 200, Northwest Mississippi State) excelled in all facets of the game in Tampa Bay's 52-56 loss to the Orlando Predators in Week 2. He logged five catches for 108 yards and a touchdown on offense, recorded 114 kickoff return yards on special teams and notched a tackle and pass breakup on defense. He will be awarded a timepiece crafted by J. Lewis Small for his efforts.

CUTTERS CATCH OF THE WEEK

Gray (5-10, 185, Western Illinois) made a spectacular one-handed grab over- the-wall for a touchdown in San Jose's 47-48 loss to the Pittsburgh Power in Week 2. The grab put the SaberCats in position to attempt what would have been a game-winning two-point conversion. He will receive a Cutters hat and shirt in recognition of the catch.

AFL HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Carr (6-6, 230, Florida State) secured the game-winning touchdown pass with six seconds to play in Orlando's 56-52 win over the Tampa Bay Storm in Week 2. The rookie wideout established himself as prime possession receiver in the contest, snagging a game-high 10 catches for 77 yards and a pair of scores.

Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week candidates included: Cleveland's Shane Austin, Jacksonville's R.J. Archer and Pittsburgh's Tommy Grady.

Riddell Defensive Player of the Week candidates included: Jacksonville's Terrance Smith, Pittsburgh's Sergio Gilliam and Tampa Bay's Chris Smith.

J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Week candidates included: Jacksonville's London Crawford, New Orleans' Larry Beavers and Pittsburgh's Prechae Rodriguez.
