Led the nation with six forced fumbles in his senior year at Western Illinois in 2008...Williams, a candidate for the Buck Buchanan Award presented by the Sports Network to the top defensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision, was named to the Associated Press and Sports Network All-America First Team and became the first player in program history to repeat as an AFCA All-America...Posted 14.5 tackles for loss and 67 stops overall for the Leathernecks in 2008...Williams was the runner-up for the Gateway Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2007 as he led the league in sacks (eight), TFLs (16.5 ) and forced fumbles (five), and ranked third in the league in tackles (107)... Earned AP and Sports Network All-America Second Team honors as a junior and was a member of the All-Gateway First Team while being named the Western Illinois Defensive Player of the Year (the first of back-to-back honors)...Finished career with 289 total tackles, 42.5 TFLs and 14 forced fumbles, the latter tying him for the NCAA all-division record for a career.
