Description: According to the Rams' official website, new St. Louis offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was impressed by tight end Lance Kendricks when Schottenheimer was scouting for the Jets prior to the 2011 NFL Draft. Kendricks had 11 catches for 155 yards and three scores in the preseason last year, but he finished with just 28 catches for 352 yards in 15 games.
Insight: The second-year tight end could make for a nice late-round fantasy selection now that he's learned from his rookie mistakes, and he figures to have a large role in Schottenheimer's offense. Tight end Dustin Keller averaged 53 catches, 640 yards and 3.75 touchdowns in four seasons with Schottenheimer in New York.
