Named All-ACC Second Team in 2010 as a senior after earning All-ACC honorable mention consideration a year earlier with the Miami Hurricanes...Entered last season as a candidate for the 2010 Lombardi Award and was on the watch list for the Outland Trophy as well...Played in 51 games in his career with Miami, making a total of 39 starts since stepping onto campus in 2007...Was a key player on a line that helped the Miami offense produce a staggering 5,477 yards of total offense in 2010, second-most in program history...Played guard most of his college career, but was moved to right tackle his senior season even as he played the entire campaign with a torn meniscus in his left knee...Obviously has great toughness and is a solid performer along the line.
