Baltimore Ravens

Name  Ed Dickson
Born  7/25/1987
Height  6-4
Weight  250
College  Oregon
Was one of the top tight ends in the nation over the past couple of seasons and in 2008 he earned a spot on the All-Pac 10 Second Team...Stepped up his efforts this past season and finished on the All-Pac 10 First Team after hauling in 42 receptions for 551 yards and six touchdowns...Is very durable and did not miss a matchup over his past three seasons...Very athletic and has solid speed for a tight end...Has the ability to stretch the field and rack up yardage after the catch...Inside the red zone his long arms and soft handsmake him a definite threat...Played in a spread offense at Oregon, so the tight end will need to learn a more pro-style offense...Is not much of a run blocker, and even getting off the line against the jam has been a troublesome area at times...Does not have great instincts and will need to improve his route-running abilities.
