Earned First Team All-Big Ten Conference and Associated Press First Team All-America honors in both seasons as a member of the Ohio State basketball team...Averaged 17.5 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 1.1 bpg and 1.2 spg in 2011-12, helping lead the Buckeyes to the national championship game...Posted three of his 17 double-doubles in the NCAA Tournament...Won the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Year in 2011 after posting 17.2 ppg and 10.2 rpg...Established an OSU freshman scoring record by putting up 40 points against IUPUI on December 9, 2010...Won numerous high school rewards as one of the most coveted five-star recruits of the 2010 class...Has a rare combination of power and skill in the low blocks, perfecting a wide array of post moves...Very physical and strong in both his upper and lower body, and is not afraid to throw his weight around...Size and strength does not take away from his athleticism...Mid-range game makes him especially dangerous on offense...Outstanding rebounder and an active defender with great instincts and a high basketball IQ...While athletic, does not possess the freakish physical gifts of other top prospects and displays merely average lateral quickness...An old school power forward who can body-up almost anybody, but it remains to be seen how he matches up with the new breed of long, mobile NBA big men.
