WR Koch joins Tiger-Cats

Hamilton, ON ( - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats made a move to bolster their receiving corps on Wednesday, signing free agent wideout Cary Koch to an undisclosed contract.

Koch spent the past two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos and recorded a career-best 42 catches in 2013, despite being limited to just 10 games by injury. The Louisiana native amassed 685 yards and seven touchdowns on 41 receptions with Edmonton the previous season.

The 27-year-old broke into the CFL with Saskatchewan in 2010 and has compiled 115 catches totaling 1,601 yards and 14 touchdowns over four seasons in the league.

Koch also had 24 punt returns that produced 204 yards along with a touchdown last season.
