Beijing, China (Sports Network) - France's Steeve Guenot and Georgia's Manuchar Kvirkelia won gold medals in Greco-Roman wrestling on Wednesday.
Guenot defeated Kanatbek Begaliev of Kyrgyzstan to win the 66kg weight class, while Mikhail Siamionau of Belarus and Armen Vardanyan of the Ukraine both won bronze medals.
Farid Mansurov of Azerbaijan, the reigning Olympic champion and favorite to win the weight class, was knocked out with a loss to Armen Vardanyan of the Ukraine.
Kvirkelia defeated China's Chang Yongxiang to win the 74kg weight class, with France's Christophe Guenot -- Steeve's brother -- sharing the bronze medal with Yavor Yanakiev of Bulgaria.
