Insight: Porter, who last played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2010-11, finishes his career with 667 tackles, 98 sacks and 12 interceptions in 188 games. His best season came as a member of the Dolphins in 2008 when he finished the year with 17.5 sacks, best in the AFC and the second-most in all of pro football.

Insight: Porter simply isn't worth the $5.75 million he's due in 2011. After a season in which he had just five sacks, he is nothing more than a backup at this point and that might be a stretch.
