Insight: Lewis pitched very well, but Chris Sale was the one who deserved to receive the victory. Lewis allowed one run on nine hits in eight innings while Sale yielded no runs on two hits, but the Rangers offense scored two runs off David Robertson in the ninth to win, 2-1. Lewis also had seven strikeouts and no walks. He is 7-3 this season.

Insight: Lewis has been rehabbing from surgery last year to repair a torn flexor tendon in his right elbow. His elbow is doing well, but the hip problem has affected his mechanics as it has worsened. He'll be a free agent at the end of the year, but Rangers GM Jon Daniels says the team would "absolutely" like to have him back.
