San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Aaron Harang allowed just four hits without a
walk while fanning six over seven scoreless innings to help the Dodgers split
a two-game set against the Padres with an 8-1 victory on Thursday.
A.J. Ellis knocked in two runs and Bobby Abreu, Andre Ethier and Adam Kennedy
each scored twice in support of Harang (3-2). Los Angeles had lost two
straight and has yet to drop three in a row this season.
"The guys were out there playing and it was a collaboration of everybody,"
Edinson Volquez (2-3) was tagged for five runs -- three earned -- on seven
