Idaho State suspends assistant coach
Pocatello, ID (Sports Network) - A tumultuous week continued for Idaho State football Tuesday with the suspension of assistant coach Junior Falevai for the team's final game of the season on Saturday.
The Big Sky Conference university announced Falevai will not travel to Eastern Washington because he was suspended indefinitely for an alleged violation of public law.
Falevai, a 2002 graduate of Idaho State, is in his fifth season at his alma mater, working with the tight ends this season.
On Sunday, Idaho State head coach John Zamberlin was informed that he will be relieved of his duties following Saturday's game. The Bengals (1-9) have lost nine straight games.
