Kent, OH (Sports Network) - Spencer Keith threw for 179 yards and a touchdown
to lead the Kent State Golden Flashes to a 27-15 victory over the Bowling
Green Falcons in a Mid-American Conference bout at Dix Stadium.
Keith completed 16-of-23 while under center for Kent State (2-6, 1-3 MAC),
which snapped a three-game skid with the win. Jacquise Terry ran for 65 yards
on just eight carries for the Golden Flashes, while Trayion Durham chipped in
62 yards and a score on the ground.
Matt Schilz completed 29-of-49 for 400 yards and a touchdown in a losing
effort, but the Bowling Green (4-5, 2-3) signal-caller was also responsible
for two costly interceptions as well. Kamar Jorden hauled in 12 passes for 203

next possession to pull ahead 20-12.
Bowling Green made it a 20-15 contest late in the frame with a 25-yard Stein
field goal, but the Golden Flashes were able to seal the victory with just
seven seconds remaining when Roosevelt Nix found the end zone after a nine-
yard return of a fumble recovery.
