Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Jeff Godfrey rushed for two touchdowns as he led the UCF Knights to a 30-3 victory over the Boston College Eagles in a non- conference bout at Bright House Network Stadium.

Godfrey finished with 69 rushing yards for UCF (2-0) and also threw for 187 yards on 20-of-25 passing. Latavius Murray led the way with 72 rushing yards and also found the end zone once.

It was a forgettable night for Boston College's offense, as the team totaled just 141 yards. Chase Rettig was ineffective throughout the game, completing just 10-of-23 passes for only 70 yards. Rettig was also sacked three times and intercepted twice. Andre Williams did not find much room to run either, as the tailback finished with 59 yards on 12 totes.

The first half was controlled by the kickers, as UCF went into the break with a 9-3 led. In the opening quarter Boston College and UCF exchanged successful kicks, as Nate Freese nailed a 47-yard boot for BC, while Nick Cattoi drilled a 36-yard field goal for the Knights.

Cattoi was busy in the second stanza, connecting field goals of 35 and 32 yards, respectively.

After the two teams went scoreless through the third quarter the flood gates opened for UCF's offense, as the Knights scored three touchdowns in the final frame.

The first score came just seconds in the fourth quarter, as Godfrey plunged into the end zone from the one-yard line.

Latavius Murray added a one-yard run as well and the final touchdown came from Godfrey, who found the end zone on a four-yard scamper.

UCF racked up 422 total yards of offense, and that includes 235 rushing yards on 5.2 yards per attempt.
