NCAA Game Summary - Central Michigan at Eastern Michigan

Ypsilanti, MI (Sports Network) - Paris Cotton rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns as the Central Michigan Chippewas rolled over the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 52-14, at Rynearson Stadium.

Ryan Radcliff was 15-of-23 through the air for 254 yards for the Chippewas (2-1, 1-1 MAC). Cody Wilson caught three balls for 100 yards and a score.

Two quarterbacks divided the workload for Eastern Michigan (0-3, 0-2). Devontae Payne was 13-of-24 through the air for 134 yards while Alex Gilbert was 12-of-20 for 148 yards and a touchdown. Nevertheless, EMU still fell for the 15th straight time, the second-longest slide in the nation at the moment.

The Chippewas started the scoring when Radcliff hit Wilson with a 21-yard scoring pass with just over four minutes left in the first quarter.

Cotton made it a 14-0 game when he scampered 13 yards to the end zone with just under a minute left in the period.

Eastern Michigan got on the scoreboard when Dwayne Priest scored on a two-yard run with four-and-a-half minutes left before halftime.

Cotton scored his second touchdown of the game from a yard out with just under two minutes left to make it a 21-7 game at halftime.

Cotton followed up with a 61-yard dash to extend CMU's lead to 28-7 a minute- and-a-half into the third quarter.

The Eagles got to within two touchdowns on Gillett's 52-yard pass to Donald Scott with eight minutes left in the period.

Radcliff responded for the Chippewas with a 14-yard toss to Kito Poblah with four minutes left in the third period.

Mike Petrucci extended the Chippewas' lead when recovered an Alex Smith fumble and took it 43 yards to the end zone.

David Harman booted a 41-yard field goal with eight minutes left in the game. to make it 45-14.

Zurlon Tipton dashed 20 yards for a score with six-and-a-half minutes left to finish the scoring and send EMU to the loss column yet again.

Central Michigan piled up 523 yards in total offense and limited the Eagles to 76 yards on the ground.
