The Golden Bears broke a scoreless game as time expired in the opening half, as Giorgio Tavecchio connected on a 53-yard field goal.

The Huskies earned a 7-3 lead early in the third quarter, as Locker found Brown with an 80-yard completion.

But the Golden Bears reclaimed the lead late in the frame, as Cal's Cameron Jordan recovered a Locker fumble and returned the ball 21 yards for a touchdown.

A 37-yard Erik Folk field goal just minutes later tied the contest at 10 apiece.

The Golden Bears responded early in the fourth quarter with a 47-yard Tavecchio kick to earn a 13-10 lead.

However, the Huskies managed to put together a 10-play, 79-yard drive that lasted over four minutes and culminated in the game-clinching score.
