NOTES:
The Nationwide Series will run the inaugural Iowa John Deere Dealers 250 at Iowa Speedway this week in the "Hawkeye State."

Sunday's 250-lap race at Iowa Speedway will be a very special one for long- time Nationwide veteran Kenny Wallace. The 47-year-old Wallace is scheduled to make his 500th career start in the series. He will join Jason Keller as the only drivers who have 500 or more starts. Keller accomplished the feat one year ago at Dover.

Wallace is in his first season driving for RAB Racing. He is currently seventh in Nationwide points, with three top-10 finishes in 11 races this season.

So far, Wallace has made a combined 854 starts in all three of NASCAR's national touring series.

Ironically, Kenny Wallace will celebrate his career milestone at the same track that Rusty Wallace, the 1989 Cup Series champion, designed several years ago.

Many drivers are scheduled to make the Charlotte/Iowa combo this weekend. Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski will compete in Saturday's all-star race at Charlotte and then attempt to run in the Nationwide event at Iowa the following day.

Trevor Bayne will do the same, if NASCAR medically clears him. Chris Buescher is on standby. Buescher substituted for Bayne in Roush Fenway Racing's No.16 Ford at Richmond and Darlington. Kevin Swindell drove the car last Saturday at Dover.

Camping World Truck Series veterans Austin Dillon and James Buescher are also slated to race at Charlotte and Iowa.

This will be the third Nationwide Series race held at Iowa Speedway. The past two fall races were won by Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch.

The next Nationwide Series race is the May 28th running of the Top Gear 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch is the defending race winner.
