Is the third-ranked North American skater by NHL Central Scouting despite playing in just 16 games for Prince George of the WHL during an injury-plagued 2009-10...Had 10 goals and 19 points for the Cougars in 2009-10 after beginning the year on the shelf with a hip injury suffered at the 2009 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament...Scored 30 goals in 65 games for Prince George in 2008-09., making him the first 16-year-old to post 30 goals in the WHL since current San Jose Sharks star Patrick Marleau did it in 1995-96...Connolly was named the WHL and CHL Rookie of the Year in 2008-09...Is said to be a natural leader and also possesses excellent size at 6-2, 181 pounds.
