Description: Coyotes winger Shane Doan enters his 19th season and at 37-years-old isn't the 60-70 point guy he once was.
Insight: Doan can still generate 40-50 points and help his younger linemates to new heights, but you shouldn't expect too much in the way of fantasy value unless he finds the Fountain of Youth. Still, he might have value on your bench as an occasional fill-in.

Description: Coyotes winger Shane Doan had one goal and one assist Tuesday against Calgary.
Insight: Doan missed a month with Rocky Mountain Fever before getting back in the lineup on Jan. 4. He only skated 14:51 Tuesday, but that was more a product of Phoenix blowing out the Flames rather than Doan being fatigued. He was on the ice for nearly 19 minutes in his return on Saturday.

Description: Coyotes winger Shane Doan (illness) will return Saturday, according to Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic. Doan began skating on his own roughly two weeks ago and joined his teammates on Monday for practice. His strength and stamina will be monitored over the next few games. "I'm sure I'll be fine," he said. "I'm sure I'll be a little rusty and winded, but we'll get over it."
Insight: Doan has been out since Dec. 4 with Rocky Mountain Fever. "It's a tick-carried bacteria that gets in your blood," Doan said. "How you get it is most likely somehow related to a tick. Whether it’s a bite I didn't really feel, whether I killed one that was somewhere without really thinking about it, I'm not totally sure. But they never found a tick bite but at the same time, we found four of them on our dog." Before the illness, the 37-year-old had 12 goals, 23 points and 80 SOG in his first 27 games.
