Seabrook, Toews help Blackhawks top Kings Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Brent Seabrook and Jonathan Toews posted a goal and an assist each and the Chicago Blackhawks continued their torrid start to the season with a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. Patrick Sharp also scored while Ray Emery made 25 saves for the Blackhawks, who have now recorded at least a point in all 15 games this season. With a record of 12-0-3, Chicago tied the 1984-85 Edmonton Oilers 15-game stretch to start the season and with a point in its next game against Vancouver on Tuesday, the team will tie the 2006-07 Anaheim Ducks' all-time record with 16 straight to begin a campaign. Mike Richards had a pair of goals for the Kings, who had won two straight coming in. Jonathan Quick made 34 saves in the loss. 02/17 18:12:07 ET |
