Description: Seattle tight end Zach Miller finished with a game-high 142 receiving yards Sunday in a loss to the Falcons.
Insight: He finished just one yard shy of Darrell Jackson's Seahawks postseason record set back in 2006. Miller's season-high in receiving yards before Sunday was only 59.

1/13/2013 2:03:00 PM
Description: Seahawks tight end Zach Miller left Sunday's playoff game with a foot injury but he later returned.
Insight: Miller has just three more receptions in his first two years in Seattle combined than he did in his final season with Oakland.

Description: Seahawks tight end Zach Miller left Sunday's playoff game with a foot injury. His return is questionable.
Insight: Miller has just three more receptions in his first two years in Seattle combined than he did in his final season with Oakland. Anthony McCoy is the backup tight end.

Description: Seahawks agreed to terms with TE Zach Miller on a five-year, $34 million contract, including $17 million guaranteed. Source: John Clayton via Twitter
Insight: Miller's fantasy stock takes a bit of a dive with him landing up in Seattle. For the Seahawks, they land one of the better all-around tight ends and he's only 25. He'll get open and should be looked upon for targets, but not nearly as many as when he was with Oakland. Look for John Carlson to possibly end up on the trading block.

2/24/2011 3:43:00 PM
Description: The Raiders are not expected to name impending free agent TE Zach Miller their franchise player. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Al Davis has already overpaid Richard Seymour and Stanford Routt, so Miller could be in for a big payday himself. Miller is also a candidate for the restricted tag depending on the CBA.

2/23/2011 11:02:00 AM
Description: Miller figures to continue to be blocked by Marcedes Lewis, who is expected to be franchised by the Jaguars.
Insight: Miller has shown impressive athleticism in stretches as a young pro but has also been injury prone. The Jags are far from deep in receiving options, so there's room for him to catch some balls, but the ceiling will be low as long as he sits behind Lewis on the depth chart. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: There is the possibility that the Raiders may not use the franchise tag on free agent TE Zach Miller. SOURCE: OAKLAND TRIBUNE
Insight: The sticking point could be the $7.3 million the tag brings for 2011. The team just dumped a ton of money on Richard Seymour, so the cheaper restricted free agent tag might be an alternative.

1/2/2011 2:49:00 PM
Description: Raiders TE Zach Miller has left Sunday's game (Week 17) vs. the Chiefs with what appears to be a serious left knee injury.
Insight: This did not look good initially and it would be devastating if it's a torn ACL or MCL. The Raiders are much-improved from 2009 and Miller is a HUGE part of their passing game. He would likely be a top 12 TE for 2011, but not if his knee ligaments are torn.

12/16/2010 4:00:00 PM
Description: Per the Oakland Tribune, Raiders TE Zach Miller (foot) is practicing fully this week.
Insight: The fact that Miller is practicing fully for the first time in several weeks bodes well for fantasy owners. Miller should be considered a top-five option for the playoffs. (RapidDraft.com)

12/13/2010 11:03:00 AM
Description: Miller caught four passes for 68 yards in Sunday's game and reportedly moved around better than he had for weeks.
Insight: It was his largest reception total since Week 5 and his best yardage output since Week 4. Miller would be a welcome PPR option over the final few weeks at a depleted position if the reports on his ailing foot remain positive. (RapidDraft.com)

12/9/2010 11:03:00 PM
Description: Miller continues to deal with foot pain related to his plantar fasciitis and practice only on a limited basis.
Insight: He should continue to be active on game days, but Miller has surpassed two catches just once since Week 5. Even that time, he only caught three. If he's your fantasy tight end right now, you're reading player updates by accident. (RapidDraft.com)

12/3/2010 3:03:00 PM
Description: According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Zach Miller said Thursday that his plantar fascitis injury is "getting more manageable every week."
Insight: If the injury improves, Miller could see more looks from QB Jason Campbell rather than being used as primarily a blocker. Plan B is probably the better bet at this point. (RapidDraft.com)

11/29/2010 3:04:00 PM
Description: Per the Contra Costa Times, Oakland TE Zach Miller confirmed that his previous arch injury was actually a torn plantar fascia.
Insight: Chargers TE Antonio Gates is also dealing with a plantar fascia injury. It is a painful issue that can hamper any fantasy production. Coupled with the fibula injury Miller suffered on Sunday, fantasy owners should start looking for a plan B. (RapidDraft.com)

11/29/2010 2:56:00 PM
Description: It was finally revealed that Raiders TE Zach Miller's recent foot injury was a torn plantar fascia. SOURCE: CONTRA COSTA TIMES
Insight: As if that wasn't bad enough, Miller also injured his fibula in the loss to the Dolphins Sunday. Since he won't be 100 percent for awhile, we might put Miller on hold for another option over the next few weeks.

11/29/2010 1:42:00 AM
Description: Raiders TE Zach Miller caught just one pass for six yards before re-aggravating the arch in his foot in the Raiders Week 12 loss to Miami.
Insight: It's clear Miller came back too soon. Miller was only targeted one time before being replaced by Brandon Myers. He was once considered a TE1 but hasn't been able to stay healthy since about Week 8. It's tough to recommend dropping him right now because of his easy playoff schedule, but if he can't get healthy he's useless to you anyhow.

11/22/2010 10:59:00 AM
Description: Raiders TE Zach Miller's troublesome arch in his foot started hurting him in the second half of the loss to the Steelers. SOURCE: SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE
Insight: Miller was mostly ineffective, catching just two passes for nine yards. He still saw seven targets, which makes him a low-end TE1. The quarterback situation doesn't help, however.

11/19/2010 4:00:00 PM
Description: Per the Oakland Tribune, Raiders TE Zach Miller participated in practice again on Friday.
Insight: Coach Tom Cable has already said that Miller is "on track" to play against the Steelers this week. Look for him to get right back to his productive pace against a banged up Pittsburgh secondary. (RapidDraft.com)

11/18/2010 8:01:00 PM
Description: Comcast Sports Net's Paul Gutierrez reports, via Twitter, that Oakland head coach Tom Cable confirmed TE Zach Miller (foot), CB Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle), and DE John Henderson (foot) are all "on track" to play this week.
Insight: This is good news for fantasy owners of Zach Miller. Pittsburgh are only slightly better than the middle of pack for fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, so Miller remains a #1 option this week. (RapidDraft.com)

11/17/2010 8:00:00 PM
Description: Oakland head coach Tom Cable is "very encouraged" with the progress of TE Zach Miller (foot) and CB Nnamdi Asomugha (ankle), according to Vittorio Tafur of the SF Chronicle.
Insight: It appears as if both will be available against Pittsburgh. Miller, the #2 fantasy TE through week 7, should provide QB Jason Campbell with a solid offensive option in the Raiders decimated receiving corps. (RapidDraft.com)

11/15/2010 7:00:00 PM
Description: Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune reports that Raiders head coach Tom Cable "thinks" TE Zach Miller (foot) will be able to practice on Wednesday.
Insight: Even after a full week off of practice during the week 10 bye, it's still up in the air whether or not Miller can return at full strength. A full week of practice certainly would sit better with fantasy owners. (RapidDraft.com)
