Description: The Miami Dolphins have released backup LB Bobby Carpenter.
Insight: Miami terminated the 27-year-old's contract after only playing in five games since he signed with the team on Sept. 6. Carpenter made six defensive tackles in two starts and added team-high four special teams tackles. He's likely the newest scapegoat for Miami's special teams blunders.
