Insight: Warren's other two wins came out of the bullpen. The 26-year-old has posted a 3.66 ERA in 305 innings with Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre over the last two seasons and went 3-2 with a 3.39 ERA in 77 innings with the Yankees in 2013. He could compete for a spot in the Yankees rotation next season with Andy Pettitte retiring, Phil Hughes leaving as a free agent and Hiroki Kuroda possibly joining him.

Insight: Warren allowed six runs on eight hits and was gone after 2 1/3 innings Friday night. The right-hander may quickly be shipped back to Triple-A with David Phelps ready to assume a spot in New York's rotation.

Insight: New York lost CC Sabathia (groin) and Andy Pettitte (ankle) to injury Wednesday. The 24-year-old Warren had a 3.86 ERA and 59/27 K/BB in 86 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season. With a powerful offense behind him, he may be able to help out in the wins department if he sticks around for more than one or two outings.
