Nordqvist moves to 10th in women's world rankings

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Anna Nordqvist picked up her second win in five weeks and that helped the Swede return to the top 10 in this week's world rankings.

Nordqvist improved six places to No. 10 after winning the Kia Classic.

There was little change to the top 10, but there was plenty of change from 11th to 20th.

Inbee Park remained the top-ranked player and she was followed by Suzann Pettersen, Stacy Lewis, Lydia Ko, Karrie Webb, So Yeon Ryu, Shanshan Feng and Paula Creamer.

Lexi Thompson inched up one to ninth and she was followed by Nordqvist.

Na Yeon Choi dropped a pair to No. 11, while Cristie Kerr was 12th again this week. Catriona Matthew dropped two to 13th and was followed by Lizette Salas, who jumped seven to No. 14 after finishing second to Nordqvist at the Kia Classic.

I.K. Kim, Amy Yang and Ha Na Jang all dropped two spots and are ranked 15-17 this week. Angela Stanford dipped a notch to 18th, while Azahara Munoz stayed put in 19th and Hee Young Park fell a pair to 20th.

Jiyai Shin was 20th last week, but was down two to 22nd this week.
