USAF Academy, CO (Sports Network) - The Air Force Falcons racked up 179 yards and two touchdowns on the ground en route to a 24-14 victory over the Army Black Knights in a battle at Falcon Stadium.
Quarterback Tim Jefferson rushed for 66 yards and scored both touchdowns on the ground for Air Force (5-4), while also throwing for 122 yards on 6-of-12 passing. Asher Clark led the rushing attack with 78 yards on 16 carries for Air Force, which claimed its 18th Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.

The Black Knights took charge in the first quarter with two touchdowns, beginning with a one-yard score by Jenkins, which was followed by a 13-yard scampered by Dixon.
Army took that 14-0 lead into the break after a scoreless second quarter, but coming out of the locker room the Falcons went on the offensive.
Air Force got on the scoreboard with a 37-yard kick by Parker Herrington. That was followed by a two-yard touchdown run by Jefferson and a two-point conversion by Clark.
Herrington's 39-yard field goal less than two minutes later even the score at 14 points apiece.
The Falcons took their first lead of the game late in the third frame when Jefferson scored on a one-yard run.
Herrington added another 39-yard field goal early in the final frame and that would be all the scoring Air Force would need, as the Falcons went on to win by a 10-point margin.
