(Saturday, November 20th) Final Score: Hawaii 41, San Jose State 7 Honolulu, HI (Sports Network) - Bryant Moniz threw for 560 yards and three touchdowns to power the Hawaii Warriors to a 41-7 victory over the San Jose State Spartans in Western Athletic Conference action. Kealoha Pilares caught nine passes for 154 yards and a touchdown for Hawaii (8-3, 6-1 WAC), which also got 144 receiving yards and a score from Greg Salas. Jordan La Secla threw for 116 yards and a touchdown for San Jose State (1-10, 0-6), which has suffered eight consecutive defeats. Hawaii led 10-0 after one quarter on the strength of a 39-yard touchdown pass from Moniz to Royce Pollard and a 32-yard field goal by Scott Enos. There was plenty of action in the second quarter, as Hawaii stretched its lead to 17-0 on a 22-yard interception return for a touchdown by Aaron Brown. San Jose State notched its only points of the game on a 21-yard touchdown pass from La Secla to Noel Grigsby with 9:36 left in the first half. The Warriors quickly pulled away, however, stretching their lead to 27-7 by intermission with a three-yard touchdown run by Alex Green and a 22-yard Enos field goal.
