(Saturday, February 23) Final Score: Arkansas State 58, Troy 50 Jonesboro, AR (Sports Network) - Brandon Peterson tallied 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as the Arkansas State Red Wolves downed the Troy Trojans, 58-50, in a Sun Belt Conference clash at the Convocation Center. Trey Finn added 13 points for ASU (18-9, 12-6 Sun Belt), which has won four straight games. For Troy (11-18, 6-12), Antoine Myers led all scorers with a career-high 21 points, while Hunter Williams netted 10 points. The Trojans, who shot just 29.2 percent from the field, have lost three in a row. ASU struggled from the field in the first half (.320), but it drained three 3- pointers and went 6-of-6 from the foul line. It also held the Trojans to a woeful 7-of-27 from the floor (.259) as it went into intermission with a 25-14 lead. The Red Wolves extended their lead to as many as 17 midway through the second half, and Troy would never get closer than seven the rest of the way.
