Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Mustangs WR JARED JENKINS has been named Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week. Utah Blaze DL CAESAR RAYFORD and Philadelphia Soul WR/KR JEFF HUGHLEY have been named Riddell Defensive Player of the Week and JLS Ironman of the Week, respectively, for Week 2 of the 2012 AFL season. In addition to these three awards, the AFL is also awarding the Cutters Catch of the Week, the AFL Playmaker of the Week and the Spalding Highlight of the Week. The Cutters Catch of the Week award winner for Week 2 is WR MARK JONES of the Tampa Bay Storm, while the AFL Playmaker of the Week is Georgia WR CJ JOHNSON. The Spalding Highlight of the Week award winners are Iowa DL RODNEY GNAT and DL JUSTIN MINCEY.

RUSSELL ATHLETIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The rookie, Jenkins (6-3, 225, UW-Stevens Point), made a splash in his first AFL game. Jenkins hauled in 13 balls for 211-yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs 65-71 loss to the Rattlers. Jenkins now leads the League in receptions per game (13) and receiving yards per game (211.0). After two weeks of play, he is the only AFL receiver to notch a 200-yard performance.

RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rayford (6-7, 265, Washington) compiled four tackles, a forced fumble and three sacks in Utah's victory over the Iowa Barnstormers, 69-49. Rayford tied his own franchise record for sacks as the Blaze defense constantly pressured Barnstormers' quarterback JJ Raterink. The Blaze also set an AFL all-time sack record in a single game with 10 against Iowa.

JLS IRONMAN OF THE WEEK

Hughley (5-8,180, Averett) had a record-setting day against the New Orleans VooDoo last Sunday. Hughley set the team's single-game record for all-purpose yards (357) and kickoff return yards (265), while tying the record for most kickoff returns (10) in a single game. During his stellar outing, Hughley took a kickoff 54 yards for a score. The Soul defeated New Orleans, 63-62, on a blocked field goal as time expired.

CUTTERS CATCH OF THE WEEK

Mark Jones (5'9, 185, University of Tennessee) notched an acrobatic, 14-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Stephen Wasil late in the Storm's victory against the Georgia Force on NFL Network. Jones recorded six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown during the game. He also added a tackle and fumble recovery.

AFL PLAYMAKER OF THE WEEK

Johnson (5-10, 185, Tennessee State) recorded six kick returns for 153-yards and a 57 yard kickoff return for a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Storm on "NET10's Arena Football Friday" on NFL Network. Johnson also added a 37 yard missed field goal return and three receptions for 32 yards in Georgia's loss to the Storm.

SPALDING HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Rodney Gnat (6'3, 255, University of Louisville) forced a fumble in the Utah Blaze endzone during the Barnstormers' home opener on Saturday. With the ball loose in the endzone, Justin Mincey (6'5, 265, Florida State University) recovered the ball for a score.
