Description: Blue Jackets winger Boone Jenner is set to return to the ice at some point this week according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Description: Columbus winger Boone Jenner will miss up to five weeks after surgery on a broken hand.
Insight: The Blue Jackets will be short-handed up front with Nathan Horton also sidelined. Playing winger in his rookie year, Jenner had 16 goals and 29 points in 72 games, but this will put a damper on his sophomore season.

Description: Boone Jenner played center in his first preseason game.
Insight: With Ryan Johansen still unsigned, the Blue Jackets are giving Jenner an opportunity to play his natural position of center. Playing winger in his rookie year, Jenner had 16 goals and 29 points in 72 games. At just 21-yeard-old, the sky is the limit, and he should be owned in all leagues.

Description: According to the Columbus Dispatch, 20-year-old forward Boone Jenner is expected to start the season on the Blue Jackets top line with Brandon Dubinsky and Marian Gaborik.
Insight: Jenner has had a great training camp. However, as a rookie he'll have his ups and downs and likely won't play on the first line all season. If he reaches 40 points it will be a nice surprise.
