NOTES:The LPGA Tour travels to Mexico this week for the Lorena Ochoa
Invitational. This event is being held at Guadalajara Country Club. The top three players in the world are in the field - Inbee Park, Suzann Pettersen and Stacy Lewis.

Park currently leads the money list by $93,613 over Pettersen. Park has won six times this season, including three major championships. Pettersen has won four times, including one major, while Lewis has won three times with one major title. Pettersen has finished in the top 10 in her last seven events and nine of her last 10, including two victories.

Five players received sponsor's exemptions this week -- Taylor Collins, Alejandra Llaneza, Azahara Munoz, Margarita Ramos and Michelle Wie. Llaneza and Ramos are natives of Mexico.

Guadalajara Country Club was designed by John Bredemus and opened in 1942. The course is located in the same neighborhood where Lorena Ochoa grew up and still lives. Her home is just 100 yards away from the first tee. Guadalajara Country Club is the oldest golf course in the city of Guadalajara. This event is the 15th LPGA Tour event hosted by an LPGA Tour player.

Last year, Cristie Kerr carded four rounds in the 60s and came from two behind on the final day to win. Kerr finished at 16-under-par 272. The victory was her 15th on the LPGA Tour, but first since the 2010 LPGA Championship.

In 2011, Catriona Matthew finished 72 holes at 12-under 276 for her fourth LPGA Tour victory and first since 2009. She led by as many as eight in the final round and went on to win by four over I.K. Kim and Anna Nordqvist.

I.K. Kim fired an 8-under 64 in the final round to come from behind and win in 2010. Kim finished the tournament at 19-under 269 and won the title by three strokes over third-round leader Pettersen. The victory was Kim's third on the LPGA Tour. Kim crushed the previous tournament record of 275 set by both Angela Stanford and Wie the previous two years. She was the only player in the field to fire four rounds in the 60s.

Wie, after years of near misses, closed 2009's rendition with a 3-under 69 in the final round to collect her first LPGA Tour title. Wie, who previously had six runner-up finishes and six third-place showings in her career, claimed her first victory by two strokes over Paula Creamer. Wie ended at 13-under-par 275.

In 2008, Stanford was tied for the lead after the first round and led by herself the rest of the way as she won the inaugural event. Stanford carded a 3-under 69 in the final round to hold off Annika Sorenstam and Brittany Lang by one shot. Stanford completed her third LPGA Tour win at 13-under-par 275.

The LPGA Tour travels to Florida next week for the season-ending CME Group Titleholders in Naples, where Na Yeon Choi captured the 2012 title.
