NOTES:
The Web.com Tour travels to North Carolina this week for the Chiquita Classic in Davidson, outside of Charlotte. This is the second week of the Web.com Tour Finals. Former Masters champion Trevor Immelman won the first event of the Finals last week at the Hotel Fitness Championship.

The field consists of the top 75 players on the 2013 Web.com Tour money list and players who finished 126-200 on the PGA Tour's FedExCup points list. The tournament is being held at River Run Country Club, which was designed by Robert Walker and Raymond Floyd, and opened for play in 2008.

This is the second of four full-field stroke play events to compete for 50 PGA Tour cards for the 2013-14 season. The top 25 players on the Web.com Tour money list already secured their PGA Tour cards for next season. Those players are now playing for their priority ranking, while the remaining players are competing for the remaining 25 cards.

Last year, Russell Henley parred the first playoff hole to win. Henley held at least a share of the lead after every round and ended at 22-under-par 266. Morgan Hoffmann and Patrick Cantlay both fired 7-under 65s in the final round to force the extra session at The Club at Longview.

Henley will not be on hand to defend his title, as he earned his PGA Tour card for 2013 and is playing in the FedExCup Playoffs. Henley won his first tournament as a PGA Tour professional at the season-opening Sony Open in Hawaii.

Scotland's Russell Knox posted rounds of 63-66 on the weekend in 2011 to cruise to an easy victory. Knox finished at 25-under 263 and won by three strokes over Billy Hurley III. The victory was the first for the rookie on the Web.com Tour.

In 2010, Tommy Gainey jumped in front after the second round and never looked back. He fired rounds of 64-66-62-69 and finished at 27-under-par 261 for a 3- shot win over Joe Affrunti. The victory was Gainey's second of 2010, following his breakthrough win at the Melwood Prince George's County Open. Gainey, known as "Two Gloves" because he wears gloves on both hands, was a former participant on Golf Channel's "Big Break" program.

Gainey's 54-hole total of 24-under-par matched the Web.com Tour record for most strokes under par after three rounds set by Arjun Atwal at the 2008 Chattanooga Classic.

The Web.com Tour heads to Ohio next week for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and the third event of the Web.com Tour Finals. Ben Kohles captured the 2012 title at the OSU Golf Club in Columbus.
