Insight: Wall has a fractured wrist, so this can't come as a surprise. Wall said during ESPN's telecast of Game 3 versus the Hawks on Saturday that if he can dribble, he will return, but we highly doubt Wall will be able to dribble anytime soon. This type of injury usually takes weeks to heal, not days. It appears Bradley Beal and Ramon Sessions will be the Wizards backcourt for the unforeseeable future.

Porter will continue to have fantasy value off the bench as long as John Wall is out.

Insight: Gortat crashed in on Nene resting versus the Knicks. Gortat took 13 shots and made nine of them while also grabbing six rebounds and blocking three shots. He is averaging 11.9 ppg, 8.7 rpg and 1.3 bpg this season.

Insight: Let's face it, the Knicks stink up the place, so the Wizards figure they don't need Nene to beat them. He will be back in the lineup on Saturday versus the Grizzlies. In daily leagues, Kris Humphries is a good option because he will get more opportunities on Friday without Nene.

Insight: Beal is being rushed back into action because the Wizards are on a six-game losing streak. He will be on a minutes restriction on Saturday, so he has limited upside. If owners have a better option, don't be bashful about leaving Beal on the bench.

Insight: Wall along with teammate Bradley Beal and Paul Millsap were the three cuts. Wall may not be happy, but the Wizards management is likely thrilled that their backcourt will be healthy and rested come training camp.
Description: Paul Pierce will sign a two-year contract for $11 million with the Washington Wizards, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Insight: In his one year with the Nets, Pierce averaged 28 minutes, 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 threes and 1.1 steals per game. He should be able to match those numbers with Washington and could improve upon them if the Wizards up his minutes. The departed Trevor Ariza averaged 35.4 minutes last season.
