Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Sebastian Douglas scored 16 points off the bench to lead the Cleveland State Vikings to a 66-55 triumph over the Western Carolina Catamounts in a non-conference battle at the Wolstein Center.

Douglas nailed all six of his field goal attempts and also went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line for Cleveland State (5-5). Anton Grady added 13 points while Bryne Forbes and Trey Lewis each netted 11.

Western Carolina (5-7) was paced by a game-high 21 points from Trey Sumler. James Sinclair was the only other player in double figures with 12 points.

In the first half Douglas scored nine of his points while Cleveland State connected on 47.8 percent of its shots to claim a 32-20 lead at the break. Western Carolina remained within reach of the lead, despite shooting just 36.7 percent from the floor, by grabbing eight offensive rebounds.

The Vikings were able to separate themselves over the final 20 minutes by connecting on 44 percent of their attempts from the field, while limiting the Catamounts to a 36.4 percent success rate.

Western Carolina was guilty of 18 turnovers, which turned into 18 points for Cleveland State. The Vikings also had a 28-18 edge on scoring in the paint.
