NCAA Game Summary - Utah State at Weber State

(Tuesday, November 26)

Final Score: Utah State 77, Weber State 71

Ogden, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Davis registered a double-double with 16 points and a game-high 14 rebounds as the Utah State Aggies defeated the Weber State Wildcats, 77-71, in non-conference action at the Dee Events Center.

Davis converted all but one of his eight field goal chances for the Aggies (5-0) as they remained undefeated. Jarred Shaw produced 20 points, Spencer Butterfield 16 and Preston Medlin 13 points and seven assists in the triumph.

The Wildcats (0-3) were led by Davion Berry who tallied a game-high 21 points. Jeremy Senglin accounted for 14 points and Kyle Tresnak 10 for the hosts.

Weber State led by as many as five points in the first half, but the team's 6- of-11 effort at the free-throw line in the period prevented it from leading by a larger margin than two points at the break, 33-31.

After converting just 40.0 percent from the floor through the first 20 minutes of action, the Aggies erupted for 63.0 percent accuracy following intermission, not to mention 11-of-13 at the free-throw line, in order to capture the six-point victory.

In a game that featured five ties and eight lead changes, USU survived despite shooting only 2-of-7 behind the 3-point line.
