=== Warriors edge Kings in thrilling finish ===

Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Splash Brothers were in full effect
 Sunday night in Sacramento.

Stephen Curry poured in 36 points with 10 assists, fellow sharp-shooter Klay
Thompson added 28 points on a career-high eight 3-pointers, and the Golden
State Warriors ended a seesaw fourth quarter with a 115-113 win over the
 Sacramento Kings.

"I got a great backcourt," said Golden State head coach Mark Jackson. "Two
guys that can light up the scoreboard. They have developed into a really good
 defensive tandem."

Andrew Bogut finished with six points, 12 rebounds and three blocks, but no
block was bigger than his last. After Curry hit two free throws to put the
Warriors up two with 8.6 seconds left, Isaiah Thomas drove the length of the
floor and Bogut came to help Thompson.

Help is exactly what the Australian did, sending the layup attempt off the
backboard, then recovering the rebound and launching the ball into the air as
 the horn sounded.

DeMarcus Cousins finished with a team-high 24 points for Sacramento, while
Marcus Thornton and Thomas added 21 and 19, respectively, off the bench.

"He (Cousins) is a work in progress," said Kings head coach Mike Malone.
"He's trying. He cares, he's trying, he hates to lose. We will get there at
 some point."

Patrick Patterson scored 18 points on 8-of-8 shooting in the setback.

Draymond Green, who scored nine off the bench, buried a 3-pointer at the
buzzer, off a Curry feed, to end the first half and give the Warriors a 56-53
 lead.

The three rejuvenated a sluggish Golden State team, as the Warriors outscored
the host Kings 34-27 in the third stanza to take a 90-80 lead into the final
 quarter.

The lead swelled to as many as 16 in the third after Curry hit two treys
 around a Green free throw.

Sacramento ended the final 1:46 of the quarter on an 8-2 run to pull within
 10.

With 7:51 to play in the game, Sacramento used a 17-4 run that was capped by a
Thomas 3-pointer to give the Kings a 104-102 advantage, their first lead since
 the first half.

Coming out of a timeout, Patterson buried a contested 3-pointer, which was
answered by a running floater from Curry and the game was tied at 109 with
 1:39 on the clock.

The Kings trailed twice in the final minute and both times, Cousins hit hook
shots over the outstretched arms of Bogut.

The Kings had a foul to give in the closing seconds, but John Salmons used it
too late as Curry picked up his dribble and drove to the basket.
