=== Warriors begin road trip in Chicago ===

(Sports Network) - The Golden State Warriors have to be brimming with
confidence after knocking off two of the top teams in the NBA and will open a
four-game road trip Friday night against the Chicago Bulls.

The Warriors are riding a three-game winning streak with victories over the
Hornets, Clippers and most recently the Thunder. Golden State handed Oklahoma
City a 104-99 defeat on Wednesday even though Kevin Durant finished with a
game-best 33 points. Stephen Curry, though, posted 31 points and seven assists
to lead the Warriors, who converted 19 OKC turnovers into 24 points.

David lee had 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Klay Thompson delivered 19
 points in a winning effort.

"It's been a huge week for us so far," said Lee, who was selected as a reserve
for the All-Star game. "We've come a long way as a team. We've proven that we
can play with anybody. Now we need to go continue to take care of business."

Golden State will also visit Milwaukee, Toronto and Cleveland, and is 12-9
 away from Oakland this season.

Chicago will wrap up a four-game homestand Friday and is 2-1 on the residency
following an 85-82 victory versus the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.

Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 18 points and Carlos Boozer ended with 16 in
the Bulls' ninth win in the last 12 tries. Joakim Noah scored 10 points and
pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds for Chicago, which is 13-11 at home and
 erased a 55-38 Pistons advantage.

Nate Robinson provided a spark late with nine straight points at one moment in
the game and contributed 11 points and seven assists in 21 minutes off the
 bench.

"Nate came in and brought that fire," Noah said of Robinson.

Noah and forward Luol Deng were selected as reserves for the All-Star game.
Deng has missed three straight games because of a hamstring injury suffered at
Boston last Friday and is doubtful versus the Warriors. Deng is averaging 17.4
points and 6.4 rebounds this season.

The Bulls and Warriors are meeting for the first time this season. Golden
State recorded a 99-91 victory in the lone matchup a year ago, but has dropped
six of the last 10 games in this series.

Chicago has won three in a row, nine of 10 and 15 of the last 18 as the host
 versus the Warriors.
