Description: Tampa Bay netminder Anders Lindback saved all 25 shots he faced Tuesday in a win against Toronto.
Insight: Lindback wasn't credited with the shutout because Ben Bishop started the game. If Bishop's upper-body injury is still an issue on Thursday, Lindback (6-12-2, 3.11 GAA) would make his 17th start of the season against the Flyers.

12/19/2013 6:12:00 PM
Description: Lightning backup Anders Lindback will start Thursday against the Predators, the team that drafted him.
Insight: Lindback is making his ninth start and 11th appearance of the season. He's 2-6-1 with a 3.12 GAA and an .883 SV%, compared to 18-5-2 with a 1.96 GAA and a .934 SV% for starter Ben Bishop.

12/7/2013 2:28:00 PM
Description: Lightning backup Anders Lindback will start in goal Saturday against Winnipeg.
Insight: Lindback has made just six starts this season as a backup to Ben Bishop and is 2-5-0 with a 3.26 GAA.

11/21/2013 6:23:00 PM
Description: Lightning backup goalie Anders Lindback will start Thursday at San Jose.
Insight: Lindback has started just four games all season while Ben Bishop has run away with the starting job. He's 1-4-0 with a 3.16 GAA and an .875 SV% in six appearances.

10/3/2013 5:59:00 PM
Description: Lightning goalie Anders Lindback will get the starting nod in Tampa Bay's season opener at Boston.
Insight: Lindback went 10-10-1 with a 2.90 GAA and a .902 SV% last season and will split time with Ben Bishop, who was acquired at the trade deadline for Cory Conacher.

4/25/2013 1:53:00 PM
Description: Lightning goalie Anders Lindback will start in net Thursday against the Bruins.
Insight: Lindback played for the first time since March 20 on April 21 and allowed three goals in a loss to Carolina. The team will likely go into next season with an open competition for starting goalie between Lindback and Ben Bishop.

3/21/2013 4:13:00 PM
Description: Damian Cristodero from the Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Lightning goalie Anders Lindback is out indefinitely. Lindback suffered a high ankle sprain Wednesday against Toronto.
Insight: Mathieu Garon will take over in net while Lindback is out. Garon has lost eight of his 11 decisions this season and his 2.78 GAA is less than desirable. Look elsewhere for goaltender help if you can help it.

3/12/2013 6:15:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback will start Tuesday against the Panthers.
Insight: Mathieu Garon is on injured reserve with a lower-body injury and Lindback has played well over his last two starts are losing the starting job to Garon in the second half of February.

3/5/2013 10:10:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback had the effort he needed Tuesday with 25 saves on 27 shots in a 5-2 win over the Devils.
Insight: Prior to Monday, when Mathieu Garon suffered a lower-body injury, Lindback hadn't played since Feb. 24 at Pittsburgh, when he allowed three goals in 20 minutes before being pulled. The team still considers him the goalie of the future but he needs a few more performances like Tuesday to get his starting job back.

Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback will get the start Tuesday against the Devils.
Insight: Prior to Monday, when Mathieu Garon suffered a lower-body injury, Lindback hadn't played since Feb. 24 at Pittsburgh, when he allowed three goals in 20 minutes before being pulled. The team still considers him the goalie of the future but he needs a few strong performances before he gets the starting job back.

2/16/2013 2:27:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback will start Saturday's game against Florida, according to the team's website. He's been dealing with flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Lindback is 5-3-1 this season with a 2.94 GAA, .903 save percentage. Backup Mathieu Garon gave up four goals on Thursday and is just 1-3 this season, so it's no surprise that the team wants Lindback between the pipes.

2/16/2013 10:26:00 AM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback is questionable for Saturday's game against Florida with flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Lindback (5-3-1, 2.94 GAA, .903 save percentage) will start if he's healthy enough, according to coach Guy Boucher. Backup Mathieu Garon gave up four goals on Thursday and is just 1-3 this season.

2/12/2013 4:26:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback will start Tuesday versus Montreal. He sat Sunday but had to enter in relief after Mathieu Garon gave up three goals in 30 minutes to the Rangers.
Insight: Lindback (5-3, 2.96 GAA) lost his last two starts after winning four straight. The team is looking to get him as much time as possible to help him become a bona fide star between the pipes, so Garon should only start when Tampa Bay has a back-to-back.

2/5/2013 6:04:00 PM
Description: In his quest to turn Anders Lindback into a bona fide No. 1 goaltender, Lightning coach Guy Boucher said the plan is to give Lindback as many games as he can, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Insight: Lindback (5-1, 2.84 GAA) will go for his fifth consecutive win when he starts Tuesday at Philadelphia. He beat the Flyers with 24 saves on 25 chances Jan. 27 in Tampa Bay. Backup netminder Mathieu Garon has played in just two of the team's first eight games.

2/1/2013 5:24:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback will go for his fourth straight win Friday against Winnipeg.
Insight: Lindback has benefited from Tampa Bay's NHL-leading 29 goals to start out 4-1, but he has also played well the last two games (50 saves on 53 shots). Lindback is the clear-cut No. 1 goaltender over Mathieu Garon.

1/29/2013 6:08:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay netminder Anders Lindback will start again Tuesday against the Panthers following his best start of the season Sunday against Philadelphia.
Insight: The Lightning lead the NHL in goals, which explains why Lindback is 3-1 despite allowing 11 goals in his first three games. Florida has scored the fewest goals in the NHL so Tuesday is a good day for fantasy owners to get Lindback in the lineup.

1/27/2013 1:31:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay netminder Anders Lindback will get the start in net Sunday against the Flyers.
Insight: Lindback has faced an absurd 110 shots in three games, so while he has turned away 90 percent, his GAA is still 3.67. The Flyers just handled another team that allows a ton of SOG, the Florida Panthers, with seven goals on Saturday. We'd stay away from Lindback on Sunday.

1/12/2013 4:06:00 PM
Description: Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback demonstrated that his knee is improving Friday when he played 77 minutes -- 45 during team skating and shooting drills and a 32-minutes scrimmage. Lindback, who needed six stitches when he was cut by a shot on Dec. 18 in Finland, was only on the ice a few minutes Thursday before retreating to the gym. SOURCE: Tampa Bay Times
Insight: Lindback was acquired from Nashville in the summer to be Tampa Bay's long-term netminder. He's expected to split time with veteran Mathieu Garon at first but should eventually distance himself. Lindback owns a career record of 16-13 with a 2.53 GAA and a .914 SV%.

9/11/2012 3:21:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay coach Guy Boucher is expecting to split time evenly between his two goaltenders, 24-year-old Anders Lindback and veteran Mathieu Garon, at least at the beginning of the season. "They're both going to get a lot of ice time," Boucher told the Tampa Bay Times. "I'm not expecting Lindback to come in here and play 65 games.
Insight: Lindback was 11-5-2 with 2.60 GAA and .915 save percentage in 2010-11 and 5-8-0 with a 2.42 GAA and .912 save percentage last season for Nashville. Garon was 23-16-4 last season with a 2.85 GAA and .901 save percentage. It sounds like the goalie who gets hot could end up with the majority of the playing time, but determining that for your fantasy draft will be difficult.

12/18/2010 11:00:00 AM
Description: Lindback made 15 saves on Friday night in a 3-1 win over the Devils.
Insight: Lindback has won five games in a row as he is now 9-1-2 with a 2.08 GAA. (RapidDraft.com)
