Description: Terrell Owens was spotted working out with New England quarterback Tom Brady Wednesday at USC's practice facility. SOURCE: ESPN Boston
Insight: Of course now the rumor is that Owens will be a Patriot in 2013. Bill Belichick has taken risks on high maintenance big names before (Corey Dillon, Albert Haynesworth, Randy Moss and Chad Johnson/Ochocinco to name a few) but keep in mind that Owens is almost 40 and he couldn't even make the Seahawks' 53-man roster last summer. T.O. playing for the Patriots looks like an extreme long shot at this point.

8/26/2012 2:43:00 PM
Description: The Seahawks have released wide receiver Terrell Owens.
Insight: Plain and simple, Owens just dropped too many easy catches for Seattle to consider him for the final 53-man roster. Even if Owens does catch on somewhere else, it's clear that he won't be a realistic fantasy option this season.

8/19/2012 10:33:00 AM
Description: Receiver Terrell Owens did not perform well in his Seahawks debut Saturday. According to the Seattle Times, Owens was targeted five times but failed to catch a single pass.
Insight: Owens dropped a perfectly thrown ball that would have been a 46-yard touchdown. According to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora, team sources said Owens is hardly assured of making the roster, though we think he'll stick around and make an impact in Seattle this season.

8/16/2012 6:26:00 PM
Description: Receiver Terrell Owens will make his Seahawks debut Saturday against the Broncos, according to John Boyle of the Everett Herald.
Insight: Owens didn't play in the team's first preseason game after signing last week, but he'll be in there for a few downs Saturday. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Owens hasn't experienced any fatigue in practice and is ready to go.

8/7/2012 5:47:00 PM
Description: One day after the Seahawks signed wide receiver Terrell Owens, coach Pete Carroll said on his Twitter page that the veteran has a chance to start for the team.
Insight: Owens hasn't played in the NFL since 2010, but he reportedly impressed team officials during a workout Monday by running a sub-4.5 40-yard dash (ESPN's Ed Werder reported the official time to be 4.45). Seattle also signed Braylon Edwards this offseason, but T.O.'s chances of making an impact with the team seem greater than Edwards'.

8/6/2012 8:47:00 PM
Description: Wide receiver Terrell Owens and the Seahawks have agreed to a one-year contract.
Insight: Owens hasn't played in the NFL since 2010, so he'll head into the season as a bit of a wild card in fantasy. Obviously Seattle thought he was in great shape, which is a good sign, and the Seahawks don't have a strong receiving corps so he should see plenty of targets. But can Matt Flynn and or Tavaris Jackson be trusted to deliver the ball to him with accuracy? That remains to be seen.

8/6/2012 5:43:00 PM
Description: According to ESPN.com, wide receiver Terrell Owens ran a sub-4.5 40-yard dash during Monday's tryout with the Seattle Seahawks.
Insight: Owens hasn't played in the NFL since 2010, when he caught 72 balls for 983 yards and nine touchdowns with Cincinnati before suffering a season ending knee injury. Seattle reportedly will try to sign Owens, which would immediately put him back on the fantasy radar considering the state of the Seahawks' receiving corps.

10/10/2011 3:41:00 PM
Description: TMZ.com reports free agent Terrell Owens was rushed to the hospital last Thursday after emergency personnel were called to his Los Angeles apartment. Source: TMZ.com
Insight: This is deja vu all over again with TO. This definitely doesn't appear to be good news out of the TO camp. Hopefully details will be released, but he has since been released from the hospital.

8/24/2011 6:59:00 PM
Description: Free agent Terrell Owens (ACL surgery) admitted Wednesday that he's still 2-3 months away from being fully healed. Source: AP
Insight: He also made mention that he had received no calls from any NFL team. With this timetable, he's expected back around December and at 38, we don't see him being as effective anymore.

Description: The lawyer of the mother of free-agent WR Terrell Owens says he has paid the child support he owes, so she is dropping her attempt to hold him in contempt of court. SOURCE: NFL.COM
Insight: Owens is a free agent and can't sign with a team until the NFL lockout is resolved, although a knee injury might keep him out a while. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Owens is rehabbing fine and should be ready by the start of the season, though we believe it will be a little longer.

6/27/2011 10:20:00 AM
Description: Bengals veteran WR Terrell Owens recently underwent ACL surgery for a torn knee ligament, though reports on how it happened are still sketchy. SOURCE: ESPN.COM
Insight: Early reports said he was injured during a workout while other reports say he actually tore the ligament while filming a VH1 television show. Sources says Owens won't be available to return to action until at least November, but that's normal recovery time... and he's 37 years old.

1/7/2011 6:00:00 PM
Description: Entering free agency this offseason, WR Terrell Owens "tweeted" that he "would love" to play for the Rams next season. SOURCE: CINCINNATI ENQUIRER
Insight: The Rams expressed interest last year, but were afraid of the impact someone like Owens would have on a young receiving corps and in the locker room. The Bengals are definitely not bringing Owens back, so he may have to wait until after the draft before he starts garnering interest.

12/21/2010 1:35:00 PM
Description: The Bengals are not expected to re-sign impending free agent WR Terrell Owens (knee, injured reserve) after the season. SOURCE: ESPN.COM
Insight: Owens' mouth, not his production or injury, ran him out of town after calling out the coaching staff on their play-calling after Week Fourteen. Owens underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair torn cartilage in his left knee, so now he has an injury concern. His dynasty value wasn't really all that great to begin with, but now it's looking very murky.

12/20/2010 12:04:00 AM
Description: Owens went into Sunday's game with a knee injury and came away with a torn meniscus that has ended his season.
Insight: There have also since been reports that the Bengals considered deactivating Owens because of his attitude. No need at this point, as the only question will be whether another team gives him a shot in 2011. (RapidDraft.com)

12/19/2010 6:05:00 PM
Description: Bengals WR Terrell Owens is expected to miss the rest of the 2010 season after he tore his left meniscus in the win over the Browns. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: At 37 years of age, surgery isn't going to be easy to bounce back from, no matter how good Owens treats his body. He will have likely played his last down in Cincinnati after yapping about how underachieving the entire organization is, but he says he expects to continue playing in 2011. It's going to be tough since he is not only a cancer, but now coming off surgery.

12/19/2010 3:48:00 PM
Description: The Cincinnati Bengals have ruled WR Terrell Owens OUT for the second half of Week 15s game vs. Cleveland with a knee injury.
Insight: It was so bad for Owens he was actually carted off the field after barely making his way to the sidelines. Andre Caldwell, who played much of the first half, will take Owens' spot in the starting lineup. There is a good chance he's done for the year and possibly as a Bengal.

12/19/2010 3:42:00 PM
Description: Bengals WR Terrell Owens is officially done for the day after suffering a left knee injury against the Browns.
Insight: Karma maybe? Owens injured his knee on the first snap when he was on the field and was carted off the field. Finishing with zero catches, he may have played his last down as a Bengal.

12/19/2010 2:25:00 PM
Description: Bengals WR Terrell Owens left against the Browns with an apparent leg injury.
Insight: Owens may have aggravated the knee that bothered him in practice this week. He is questionable to return.

12/19/2010 8:02:00 AM
Description: Owens missed practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 15 with a knee injury. Coach Marvin Lewis expects him to play, though.
Insight: Owens should be on the field, but the knee and the fact that he has been less-targeted lately than Chad Ochocinco makes him a less-than-stellar Week 15 option. (RapidDraft.com)

12/16/2010 1:00:00 AM
Description: Owens was held out of practice Wednesday because of the knee injury that slowed his start to practicing last week.
Insight: It seems noteworthy that Owens missed this week's Wednesday workout after participating on a limited basis last Wednesday. His recent production (or lack thereof) should be enough to push you to search for other Week 15 answers. (RapidDraft.com)
