Description: Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart had another big game to finish off the 2014 season against the Seahawks.
Insight: Stewart ran well the last five games but not against any defense at the level of Seattle, so his 5.4 yards per carry average was somewhat surprising. He had 13 carries for 70 yards, but Carolina could not stick with the run after falling behind in the fourth quarter.

Description: Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart had a big game Saturday against the Cardinals.
Insight: He had 24 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown. Stewart is clearly the lead dog in Carolina's backfield.

Insight: Stewart had averaged 109 ypg over the past four games, including 122 in Week 16, but in this one he shared carries with Cam Newton, Fozzy Whitaker and Mike Tolbert.

Insight: He rushed 24 times for 122 yards, and also had two catches for seven yards and a score. Those are RB1 numbers.

Insight: DeAngelo Williams is not expected to play in Week 16. That means 20-plus touches for Stewart.

Description: Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was clearly the workhorse back for Carolina with 22 carries in Week 15.
Insight: Stewart wasn't very efficient, averaging 3.3 yards per carry, but the amount of carries helped Stewart get to 73 rushing yards. Stewart is a RB1 as long as DeAngelo Williams is out.

Insight: DeAngelo Williams is again inactive and Stewart should be an RB1 with a full amount of rushing attempts.

Insight: DeAngelo Williams out-carried Stewart 10-to-7. Stewart gained 24 yards on his seven attempts. He will continue to be a low-end FLEX option in juicy matchups, but that is about it.

Insight: He had 16 carries for 79 yards, as well as three catches for 15 yards. With Deangelo Williams expected back soon, Stewart's value will plummet, however.

Insight: Stewart rushed for 50 yards on 13 carries and the only other running back to carry it last Sunday was Chris Ogbonnaya (five times). He's a viable low-end fantasy option.

Insight: Stewart is a worthy fantasy flier at the FLEX position this week. He will get the bulk of the carries again with DeAngelo Williams and Fozzy Whittaker inactive.

Insight: Stewart has been dealing with a knee problem for most of the season, but he's the healthiest back the Panthers have at this time and the Packers have given up the most rushing yards this season - 927 (154.5 ypg).
