Description: Jacksonville quarterback Chad Henne produced an impressive yardage total Sunday against New England (348 yards on 51 attempts) but his three interceptions put a damper on the afternoon.
Insight: To Henne's credit, not all of the miscues were his fault. One of the picks came on a desperation heave at the end of the game and the Jaguars receiving corps had butter fingers all day (four drops). Henne and the Jags play Tennessee next week in the season finale.

12/9/2012 7:04:00 PM
Description: Jaguars QB Chad Henne only had 185 yards with two picks Sunday against the Jets.
Insight: Henne has crashed back to earth the last two games after riding high with six combined touchdowns in Week 11-12.

11/21/2012 9:14:00 PM
Description: Chad Henne will have the last six games of the season to prove himself to Jacksonville head coach Mike Mularkey according to Mark Long of the Associated Press.
Insight: If Henne plays well, he'll be the team's starter heading into the 2013 season. Blaine Gabbert (elbow) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, effectively ending his season.

11/19/2012 2:15:00 PM
Description: Chad Henne has surpassed Blaine Gabbert on the team's QB depth chart. He'll get the start for Jacksonville Sunday against Tennessee according to John Oehser from Jaguars.com.
Insight: Henne blew up for 354 yards Sunday against Houston after Gabbert went down with an elbow injury in the first half. Head coach Mike Mularkey called the switch "performance based" so it's unlikely Gabbert will be able to win his job back even after his elbow is fully healed.

11/18/2012 6:16:00 PM
Description: Chad Henne came in for injured Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert and ended up having a monster game on Sunday. Henne finished the day with 354 yards and four TD passes.
Insight: Despite completing less than 50 percent of his passes, Henne was able to compile a brilliant 126.8 QB rating for the game. This could be the shot in the arm Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey needed to finally realize that Henne is more equipped for the job than Gabbert.

5/16/2012 6:46:00 PM
Description: According to Don Banks of Sports Illustrated, there are those inside the Jaguars organization who believe that ex-Dolphins starting quarterback Chad Henne will beat out incumbent Blaine Gabbert for the Jaguars job by late August.
Insight: New head coach Mike Mularkey continues to say that there is no quarterback competition between the two, but Banks says the Jaguars have been working with Gabbert to re-teach him some fundamentals and hone his drops and balance in the pocket. Right now, neither player offers much fantasy value, but in two quarterback leagues or leagues that employ an offensive player, Henne is the player fantasy owners should be rooting for to win the starting job.

Description: Chad Henne has signed a two-year deal with the Jaguars.
Insight: Henne is slated to be Blaine Gabbert's backup but if he outplays Gabbert in training camp this summer, he could be Jacksonville's starter. Last year, Henne had 868 passing yards before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 4. Half of those yards came in one game against an extremely weak New England secondary, so don't expect Henne to lead you to fantasy greatness next year.

Description: During Thursday's Combine press conferences, Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland referred to QB Chad Henne as his "starter." SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: The Dolphins shot themselves in the foot by using their second-round pick from this year for Brandon Marshall in 2010. There aren't any quarterbacks worth the No. 15 overall pick and guys like Cam Newton will likely be gone by the time the Dolphins pick. A third-rounder isn't going to land a Kevin Kolb. The Dolphins can only draft a project who won't contend for the starting job. Henne, surprisingly, continues to have dynasty value.

Description: Dolphins QB Chad Henne is predicted to open the 2011 season as the starting quarterback. SOURCE: PALM BEACH POST
Insight: It's believed that the main reason why the Dolphins wouldn't be able to trade for a quarterback is because they used their second-round pick on Brandon Marshall. The Dolphins will draft a quarterback, but not one that will push for a starting job as soon as this year. If Henne starts, the Dolphins are screwed.

Description: Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald writes that the Dolphins will add at least one and perhaps two quarterbacks to the roster this off-season.
Insight: The plan is to add at least one competitor for Henne, who played well enough in 2010 to get benched -- at least until Chad Pennington hit IR. Miami's is one of many QB situations that will bear watching for its impact on multiple fantasy players as the 2011 season draws nearer. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: "Without a doubt" the Dolphins are expected to address the quarterback position this offseason. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: GM Jeff Ireland said Chad Henne will challenge for the starting job, but Ireland hasn't ruled out using a high pick on a quarterback either. It would make absolutely no sense for the Dolphins to go with Henne after he showed in 2010 that he just doesn't have the mentality to be the starter.

Description: Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland hinted that he isn't giving up on QB Chad Henne, who will compete for the starting quarterback job in 2011. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Alex Smith Part 2? Henne has the look to play quarterback and there is no arguing that he has a strong arm, but his limitations, including poor decision making, are going to hold the team back if he wins the starting job. Here's hoping the Dolphins give him decent competition.

Description: The Dolphins yanked QB Chad Henne at the start of the second quarter after he completed just 5-of-12 passes for 51 yards and an interception against the Patriots. SOURCE: NFL.COM
Insight: Thigpen isn't looking all that great either, but it would be crushing to think they would have to bring Henne back in. All signs are pointing towards Henne being done as a starter past 2010.

Description: Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall hinted that he's "not sure" if QB Chad Henne is the right quarterback for the team going forward. SOURCE: PALM BEACH POST
Insight: "We didn't get it done," Marshall said, "so I guess we have to evaluate what we did this year and see what we can improve on." We'll remind owners that Bills Parcells, before stepping down as vice president, said that Henne's lack of development as an NFL quarterback was one of the biggest disappointments of his time in the front office. We already saw the team's lack of confidence in Henne when he was benched for Chad Pennington a few weeks ago. The team has to upgrade at the position in the offseason.

12/27/2010 10:01:00 AM
Description: Henne tossed two interceptions in Sunday's loss to Detroit, adding 278 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: It was Henne's fourth game this year with at least two picks and the 10th time he has finished with a touchdown or fewer. It'll be interesting to see what the Dolphins do at quarterback in 2011. (RapidDraft.com)

12/13/2010 12:03:00 PM
Description: Henne threw for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's winning effort at the Jets.
Insight: You won't see too many worse lines on a winning quarterback. (RapidDraft.com)

12/7/2010 12:49:00 PM
Description: According to Dolphins HC Tony Sparano, QB Chad Henne will likely be his starter for the rest of the year, but the staff will evaluate the quarterback position after the season. SOURCE: PALM BEACH POST
Insight: As expected, Henne has gone back to his poor decision making, throwing four interceptions to three touchdowns in the past two games. If Henne has a strong last quarter of the season, it will help, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the team try and bring someone else in for competition. We just don't see Henne as a long-term solution, especially after he was benched once already a couple weeks ago. He has thrown twelve touchdowns and fifteen interceptions this season already.

12/6/2010 12:02:00 PM
Description: Henne tossed three interceptions to go with 174 yards and a touchdown in losing to the Browns on Sunday.
Insight: This game served as a reminder after strong production at Oakland that many better fantasy options exist than Henne. (RapidDraft.com)

11/27/2010 11:02:00 PM
Description: Henne took part in limited practice this week and has been cleared to play following his Week 10 knee injury. The Palm Beach Post reports that he might start.
Insight: It would be somewhat surprising for Miami to rush the return of a quarterback benched just two weeks earlier for ineffectiveness. Either way, no one in the Miami pass offense looks even slightly attractive in Week 12. (RapidDraft.com)
